One of the things that I have been inspired to do since I reactivated this Blog was to revisit my collection of books on various paranormal themes.
My current reading project is to re-read the books of
Harry Price
who was once Europe's foremost ghost-hunter and in many ways the father of modern parapsychology.
Price's most famous book is
'The Most Haunted House in England'
I have been reading it again and nearly seventy years on it still knocks the spots off any other book written about ghost-hunting that came after it.
If you can get hold of a copy you should grab it with both hands and spend a quiet night in reading it.
There is a sequel to 'Most Haunted' and it is called
'The End of Borley Rectory'
and in many ways it is a superior read on respect to the first book.
Price was described as being a good writer but a bad reporter, he wrote his books weeks and often months after the events using the notes he made at the time, but the Borley books are true classics of their type.

Anyone intersested in this stuff should also check out the work of the late American parapsychologist and author
D. Scott Rogo.
Scott Rogo was very much influenced by Harry Price and you should look out for his book,
'The Haunted House Handbook'
another of my favourites and a cracking good read in its own right.
